No doubt we ALL wish Billy Wales n Kitty Cambridge a successful delivery n b_nny bouncing baby (is that the phrase folks use - I don't 'do ' children) just as we no doubt all wish Mrs Smith at number 5 the same!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Are they televising it? I bet Claire Balding will be picked to commentate - she has the right sort of voice.

I can't wait. Although the christening will probably be more of an occasion maybe a bank holiday thrown on too. Of course all the bah humbugers on here will opt to work that won't they. With it being a celebration of the royal family they hate

I think it will be lovely, any news like this will uplift the country that we live in, in any case a royal baby can't make it any worse

I’m sure there’s a lot of people all over the world who will get great joy from the birth of this latest royal progeny…

Personally I’m equally pleased for any new parents who’ll go through the same emotions they will no doubt experience over the weeks and months ahead…

Its wonderful time in the lives of any loving couple and I wish them and their child good health and happiness …..

I’d be delighted if during the celebration of the birth of this child the Royal familiy could somehow recognise the memory of that poor nurse who took her own life after the prank phone-call episode …

Looking forward to the barrage of coverage across all media platforms for days on end and among friends who are pro-spawning until I feel I want to rip my eyes out and fill my ears with bath sealant?

I think that's a NO from me.

Noooo Mogodon is a well known duller of the senses a bit like Saturday night TV or Cam sex. The tea towel will be a handy accessory to the mugs and plates that I have in my cosy cottage in Wythenshawe

I wonder what the true figures are Re: pro or anti royals?

We only hear about the millions who are 'pro' but never the 'anti' or 'don't give a shit' figures. I think I'd be catagorised in the latter but a survey would be interesting!!

Not really bothered. I'm due to become an Aunty on the same day so I'm more excited about that one tbh.

Oh right well then I've been years on 'mogodon by proxy' cos I'm always brain dead by Saturday night tv. Personally I would have little use for a tea towel due to having a dishwasher. In the game of one upmanship however, I concede u the winner as I'm not blessed with a second home country cottage

Marrying a 'prince' doesn't make you royal. Just ask Fergie or Diana (OK, I know that's not possible).
