Went walking with the pooch today, and saw my late partner's boat moared up near Devizes Marina.
The dog recognised it straight away and wanted to go on board.
I said to him it was only a boat, as my late partner (his original owner) had gone forever.
He seemed to understand what I meant and calmed down.
I was in bits, as it was the first time I saw the boat again after removing my belongings over a year ago after his death.
I guess I can ticked off another hurdle on the route of recovery!
Onwards and upwards they say! |

" Definitely not ready to move on... " but certainly on the right track to enjoy life. Found that instead of that silent tear, its better to have that little smile that a loved one always managed to somehow bring to you

I think you are being hard on yourself expecting things too quick.
It takes time to get over these things, give yourself it xxx |

You'd probably right in that I have unrealistic expectations.
I thought I have done well to compartmentalise the sadness relating to his death so far.
However, it just shows it does not take a lot to open the emotional floodgate again! |

Pearl, six years on for me and there are still moments when I see things, or smell an aftershave and memories come rushing back, they take my breath away.... he will always be part of you. Coping with it is hard but it will get easier daily. xxxx |

I've sent you an email."

.
Besides, you can see the pics already!!! "
OK! Only trying to help the pik was not for me but for you to send to me thus helping you move on...One with stockings would be nice.... |
