The industry I work in requires customers or potential customers to honestly declare any claims ect!!

Well I must have pulled the short straw today at work...

One customer didn't think they had to pay for our services, and another " forgot to declare 4 claims!! All made in the last 2 years!

So my question is, when your asked to answer questions honestly! Do you?

And I don't mean in the swinging world

Yes. I have the most useless memory so I never try to lie as I can't remember what I said but can remember the truth.

I don't quite understand why people would lie on insurance as surely this voids it or am I not following what you said correctly ?

No your following correctly and yes your right it does void it!

Suppose some people think they can get away with it!

Yes. It is the same in my industry. I think the duty of disclosure act will make things more difficult for people to wriggle out of. As long as the questions are asked.

Brighton - even Hove!

I always round my travel claims up to the next mile as it makes it quicker and easier to process and probably as a result saves money over time.

I have to manage over 100 drivers and if i was to lie and got found out i would lose the trust of my colleagues. I always tell what i believe to be the truth. At times i have been wrong , but what i have said i believed to be correct.
