Having read a book essentially pointing out that life's simple pleasures are great and the world is in fact an amazing place, I thought I'd as forumites about the things that make them smile?
Drawing a face in the condensation of a window.
Making a sand castle.
Drawing a cock & balls in on your colleagues work

We filled up someone's towel when they were going swimming at lunchtime. They got thrown out of the pool!

Once drilled through a twatty managers tea cup with a really tiny drill bit so their tea dribbled down them as they walked around with it. We've also made someone a brew and added superglue to the base of the cup- bloody hard to pick up a full mug of tea |

We put the contents of the hole punches inside peoples umbrellas... watching them get covered when they put the umbrella up amuses me every time |

Probably one of the most laboured jokes I had played on me, was by my work colleagues.They rigged up a track using paperclips sellotaped to the ceiling. Through this they ran a fishing line.Tied to one end was a plastic spider.
The joke tells its own story...but the marvellous thing was the effort to perfect it. Apparently several trials ensued... bless tiny fishing weights were tied to the spider to give the right monentum..and length of line perfect to dangle directly in my face..Yes I screamed and freaked....Lol.xx

Just to clarify, the thread suggests there are lots of simple things in life that are very pleasing and fulfilling. Some people have outlined things that make them smile by plaing pranks.
The concept was to identify the stuff you perhaps take for granted but is actually very integral to happiness.
Throwing pebbles into the sea.
That great sound the wind makes when it fills the sail on your boat and you feel a gentle surge.
Watching squirrels run up and down trees.
