Ok. So there are many people who block people for not reading their profiles or harassing them, etc. However there are some people who block for no reason as I have seen on the forums. Maybe there should be an option you can click on the reason why you have blocked them and that way when you go to visit thee profile. It will say on thee profile, why you have been blocked, etc. Having forum members block you without even talking to you or anything is just confusing  . However if you want to make peace. Noes your chance to do it  |

Nope! If i block - its permanent. Whether someone has pissed me off, given me reason to dislike them - or if I'm 99% sure id never have any interest in meeting them. It's just another filter to me - be that an arsehole filter, a you've posted something that makes me want to hurl/scream filter or a "I'm saving you the time you'd spend messaging me in order to free it up for someone who may appreciate your message" filter.
And much in the same way as i don't feel the need to explain why I've deleted a message - i don't feel obliged to explain a block either. |

I've been blocked for no apparent reason....but thats the thing...not apparent to me. What does it matter? If they block, there's a reason so they wouldn't want to contact you in any way anyway, even if you were unblocked. |

Honestly after you post yesterday about worrying about telling people you don't fancy them and then this today I think your gonna have a nightmare on here worrying about what everyone thinks about you or hurting someone's feelings.
I have told people why I'm blocking them before in a response to a rude/nasty message but that's it. Some just block to prevent that person coming up in searches if they know they would never want to meet. Just get a thick skin or your gonna be torturing yourself over every tiny thing and this is supposed to be fun!!! |
