I don't do domestic but I'd say you're looking round the £20 mark. What's the job you're looking at having done as some jobs need more than one person plus the cost of materials- there's a few sparks on here so we could probably give you an idea and heads up on what to ask/tell them |

You'll probably be quoted for the job rather than for how many hours the job will take. Obviously there is some correlation between the two but if it a small job there will be a minimum charge and possibly a call out fee.

A call out fee should only apply to emergency work- any workman who quoted one to me for standard hours work would be told where he can shove it, plenty of good sparks who won't charge call out |
