Firstly welcome to fab, I hope you have fun here.
The sight you have joined is actually one of the best in my opinion. You will more than likely encounter a number of fake profiles, be inundated with dumb emails and get stood up a fair amount of time. However stick with it as things calm down after a while and you soon learn to differentiate between the genuine people and the fakes.
