Where do people leave their manners when going to the cinema these days?
Russling sweets
Taking inappropriately aged children
Sending children alone
Talking
Mobile phones
Sneezing all over others
Coughing
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... |

I also hate it when people talk at the cinema. It's really expensive to go and if I wanted to hear people talk I would have got the DVD and watched it with people who I actually want to talk to. Not complete strangers who are bloody rude.argh I have wanted to rant about this since I went to the cinema the other day anda group of girls decided to talk pretty much the whole way through.

"Actually mobile phones in cinemas bug me... do they have them on 'torch app' settings or what?"
Just got back from the cinema. The two people next to me were on their mobiles throughout, very off putting! |

We went recently and 4 young adults (late teens / early 20s) came into our row and sat next to us (cinema nearly empty so that pissed us off for starters). They then proceeded to get their phones out and start texting. The screens kept lighting up when they got replies which was really distracting. Then they started talking at a conversational level and that's when our patience ran out. Z spoke to them and asked them to be quiet (he was closer than me)and they did comply to a certain extent. I was still angry that they'd been so bloody inconsiderate so when I saw them in the foyer afterwards, I went over and spoke to them about how rude and inconsiderate it was to use phones in a cinema - and if they did it again with people less tolerant than us it's likely they'd be reported and chucked out.
They apologised (which surprised me actually - I half expected a barrage of verbal abuse). Hopefully they'll think on the next time they go to the cinema (but I somehow doubt they will). |

"Some cinemas in London now employ personnel to stamp out on inconsiderate people who cause noise, use mobiles etc.
Seemingly, it works well!"
You mean those ninja dudes? |

We had similar to that when we took our kids to see Wreck it Ralph during Feb half term... I (Mr)gave them a few home truths which shut them up, but it ruined the film for me, which was a shame coz I used to love the game with wreck it ralph in it!! |
