It happens for all ages. There are plenty of profiles that interest me but I'm just outside their age range one way or the other. Luckily there are lots of profiles where I am within their age range, so I just stick to messaging them instead. |

It's a number. My guys older than you and he's sexy as hell. On here people might be rigid on ages but like when we went to a party a few weeks back, once people get chatting they see past the age thing. |

Strange because I seem to be noticing more and more younger girls profiles stating they ONLY want to meet mature guys (like 45+).

I agree that on here age preferences are rigid for some people,ive even got them myself,when i upped it I ended up with people messaging me that looked 10yrs older than they stated......people do tell porkies so I lowered it again,I can't even remember what ive put now
In real life at parties or clubs I have never asked anyone their age as it seems such a childish thing to say,If I get on with someone and fancy the pants off them thats good enough for me |

You know I find the club scene quite fascinating in this respect. You mostly go on looks and personality. Okay you might chat and establish some facts, but who goes round with a check sheet for age, sexuality, are you a smoker etc!
The only thing that bothered me once is a couple we met at a club who we really hit it off and had a great time. We exchanged names on here, but they didn't seem to be so keen then and I suspect it's because John is bi. |

Meeting one to one is a different dynamic to being in a club. I don't kiss people in clubs and might not do other things with them if they are very smoky. I have turned down men at clubs as they looked too young. |

This is the point I have been making repeatedly when the age issue comes up. In a club I can never recall asking or being asked my age - it's all about a connection, attraction - that indefinable 'something' which makes you think... 'Corrrrrrrrr!'
This is part of the reason I gave up my single male profile, and why as a couple we are now sticking to meets face-to-face at parties and/or clubs. I suppose it's going back to the way it was pre-internet. You made your mind up about someone in person, not based on a set of arbitrary selection criteria (which include age) on a web site.

Nope, but then we are in our 40's  on a serious note we will meet any age person if they 'float our boat', personality is way more important and we only set our limit at 99 as there was no higher option. Besides older guys have two important things going for them.. Reliable where a meet is concerned and experience. We are trying to find time to meet a guy who is 62, his cock is equal to any on here |

My cut off is 49 but I'm flexible on that to a degree. If someone appeals to me then their age doesn't matter.

Noo you shouldn't hate being 51, it's not old at all, guys are certainly sexy at this age.
I agree that for many the cut off age is 50, but there are plenty of women looking for maturity and experience, it's a good thing. And you're looking pretty fit OP (resisting the urge to type 'for your age') |
