It seems some people begrudge them that too .
People complained that police joined in the fun sledging, on their riot shields while other officers filmed it on their mobile phones.
He really went along way on his shield lol

I totally agree Rugby it makes them more approachable etc etc.
and the things those guys/ladies see every day in road crashes, murder cases etc etc also having to break the news to people they have lost loved ones..
they have my respect alongside all the emergency services
harmless fun.. |

And if the policeman broke his leg whilst doing that;
* Would he say, no sick may for 3 months it was my own fault.
* Would the Employer be liable as it showed a lack of supervision and an injury occurred.
* Who cares, i'm not involved lol
Top tip, use ebay to find a riot shield and use it for sledging

It depends on this T&C
Some employers have a clause, no sick pay if was a sporting event, some people who regularly play sport. You can get insurance for such instances...but...T&C will have the answer  |

There is a video going about just now and on youtube of Strathclydes Finest giving a ned a doing as the wee scrote wouldn't shut his month when asked to and became abusive.
Ok the cop might had been on a power trip and decided to put the ned in his place by laying into him but surely he should have kept the head and handcuffed him then threw him in the back of the van and dealt with him then and not in the public eye.
