I've just spent a glorious hour sitting underneath Dad's tree, Blake rolling in the cut grass whilst I talked to Dad. Utterly peaceful.

Do you have a peaceful place?

Costa del Medway

My garden is very peaceful. Suprisingly so as I live in a terraced house near town.

It's very long. I like that.

No ... there is no peace to be had here

Where my mum is laid to rest - that's peaceful , but its miles away

My lounge, or my bed.

Yep, out at sea. Just a few rolling waves , and nothing but open sea. Perfect escape.

Down by the river where I go walking. Very isolated apart from the occasional jogger x

Few occasions ive got in the hot tub and blocked the world out, dont have a special place to go as such, I tend to go into shut down mode if that makes sense

When i went back to Warminster last weekend i found solitude just sitting in the park i used to play in as a child, was lovely to watch my own little one play there as i once did.

Its just an open space with lots of Daisys grown with Battlesbury hill in the background.

Loved it

At about this time each day I've just put my son in bed and I always go into my room and just lie on my bed in the dark for 5 or 10 minutes. Love my boy to bits but just 5 minutes total silence is bliss since 5am!! X

No funnily enough I don't!! But when I do, I love submerging myself fully, so I can just hear the echos.

If I'm feeling especially stressed I go into a floatation tank. They are amazing.

My bedroom is very peaceful and very much my own space. It's in the attic so I have the top floor to myself, painted all white, 'shabby chic' furniture much of which I painted and modified myself, pretty accessories. It's my boudoir.

Tewkesbury Abbey, it's 5 minutes walk from my place so I often wander down there and either sit in the grounds or in the Abbey itself.

My dads garden where we planted a rose bush for mom and a memorial bench

"Mom looking over paradise"

She loved her garden

Peace for me is a state of mind, not necessarily a location or a physical situation.

Yes I used to have two places that meant peace to me, only one now...but that is a time I can sit and let the world go by.

I do agree with that, but specifically two locations to me brought me an inner harmony so it can be combined imo.

I go to the marina and arse about on my boat-never get that much done, but i'm out of the way. Can listen to my own music on board and play my guitar as well, and "turn my phone off!" lol.

The crematorium where my two granddads, nan and great nan are.

All the squirrels are fairly tame and I love sitting in the quiet beautiful gardens talking to all squirrels like they were one of my family there.

"My lounge, or my bed."

Woman after my own heart! Even better when the girls and their partners are not in. Sometimes I come home, see the cars outside and keep walking...love them, but they need to move out of my house!

The place where I made an offer to late partner that he could not refuse, providing there are no cows about, or the dog would go and chase them.
