Your Entrance Music

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

You've seen it before - be it at a boxing bout,a live comdedy gig or at some corporate event.

The host/boxer/comedian comes out to loud music - often a personal "theme tune" (think Rocky!) designed to set the mood and catch everyone's attention!

So imagine - if this happened whenever you walked into the room or the entrance of your regualr swingers club - what would your tune of choice be?

I used to quite like the idea of walking out to AC/DC's "Back in Black", a la Iron Man - but my current melody of choice would be Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines"!

True story this....

A mate of mine (amateur boxer) came out to the theme of The Magic Roundabout. We think a mix of the music and the blank look in his face as he walked in scared the shit out of his opponent because he won by KO in the first minute.

Are you thinking of 'Ave Satini' from The Omen? Based on "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff?

Not really, if you're not enough of a fan to get the name right I don't think you should be allowed to claim it.

I think calling Also sprach Zarathustra, the theme to 2001 isn't quite as bad but google is only a click away.
