exactly this. the word diet (to me) has a negative connotation and stinks of 'short term fix'. Lifestyle changes are the way forward |

I'm not on a diet, I just have adjusted what I eat. Portion sizes, a lot more veg, not as many carbs, quit the diet soda, etc..and move a lot more. I've decided I don't want to diet but I do want to tone and shape up a lot more. If I have a not so good meal, I just really watch it for a few days afterwards and I don't beat myself up over it b/c if you say you can't have something, you'll only want it more. It's not always easy but it works for me.

I don't do diets as I find I can't stick to them and I tend to want to eat more.
But I have got lazy the last few months and have put on nearly a stone. So am back to doing more exercise and being more sensible with what I eat.

I have stopped drinking Guinness and lager. I have a reasonably healthy diet but I noticed a bit of a beer belly appearing. I now have whiskey or jack Daniels. A plus to this is I don't get the munches after a drink. I could easily eat a family size pack of crisps after a few pints.

No diet here
I never do diets, I just eat less crap.
I find the term 'diet' too restricting and I am one of them people that when I can't have something, I want it more.
I get weighed once every 6 months at the same place and that is how I measure my weight.
I know when I need to shed a few kilos by how my clothes feel on me.
I have the 'belt test'
I wear my belt on the 4th hole - if it is getting towards to being more comfy on the 3rd, I eat better until it buckles easily on the 5th
My weight has been consistently within the same 5 kilo boundaries for the last 6/7 years.
Eating healthier for me is basically low sugar and low fat, not necessarily low calorie - though they do often go in hand. |

I can easily eat one at any given time "
I only get the urge for crisps after drinking beer. |

I've just found some motivation to do something I've really never done, daily exercise, even if it's just a 20 min cardio workout in the living room with the blind closed so no one can see lol. I went swimming this morning having probably not done any serious lane swimming in 14 years or so, although I've always been a decent swimmer. I managed 60 lengths which I didn't think was too bad for being so out of practice. |

I'm at slimming world I'm on my 8th week,I did really well at the start the first week I lost 2 n half pounds. But iv gained the last couple of weeks so I'm beating myself up about it, I'm not on a diet as diet stands for * Dare I Eat That* lol my consultant keeps telling me too eat more but my body won't accept anymore food than I'm eating as I'm used to one meal a day, plus I have thyriods Probs so that's another reason iv gained weight again. I was always very slim growing up but I had a bad incident happen at 18 then had a stroke at 18 too.. due to stress I comfort ate so that's why Im fat now. But good luck in whichever diet you do xx |

I do not know a single person who has not put all the weight back on after a diet because they go back to eating what they did before the diet.
I just carry packets of pistachio and cashew nuts (high source of protein) Or pumpkin seeds (great for testosterone levels). If I need a snack I have them rather than buying crisps and chocolate.
I keep high coco % chocolate in the fridge if I need a chocolate hit. Yeah it's bitter but after one or two squares you don't crave chocolate again (rather than eating a whole slab of dairy milk).
I eat plenty of high protein meals, fish and meat with fresh veg and a small portion of carbs (unless I am
Training for an event then the carb intake goes up). Doing this means I don't have to watch my weight. I can eat what I like and don't worry if I have a huge feed up.
I also rarely drink on school night which makes me a binge drinker. Someone get me an asbo. |

Ive always been a pretty fit guy as I've always done sports, but I've started doing the Insanity workout.
Well I thought I was fit, but Insanity is on another level! If I keep it up I'll be ripped by the 60 days mark though |
