i see many older people using the word 'wot' on here, i thought it was not the does thing to use text speak so why does people use this word, i feckin hate it, it gives me the impression ov a fik yoof. |

i wish it was a youth thing i use the word wot my self but im 40 years old and just habbit i guess but deffinately not a youth and can actually spell but sometimes i just hate typing so abreviations are required |

Nobody's perfect, check your own grammer and spelling before criticising others lol!

my point is everyone has the odd typing mistake, some more than others, but many are delibarately typing words like 'wot'
i have a poor education but i still like to try and spell things properly to seperate myself from the text typing spivs of today
to be honest i steer clear of people who use this kind of guff in their posts cause i assume they are brain dead |

at the risk of being shot... i deplore poor spelling it really puts me off! as does text speak especially bb!! oh and whilst im off on one.... i hate hun/babe/baby etc! i can understand an odd typing error but iv been sent messages that to be frank would have been better written d*unk or with plaster casts on!! rant over!! |

Far from being text speak 'Wot' was used during WWII by a character called Chad, who complained of shortages by saying 'WOT no ......'
