In light of last nights 'terror' attack on Simon Cowell on BGT by perfectly sane looking lady who will no dought be hunted down by his press buddy's,
hands up who wishes she got him right in the mush? |

I saw it last night.
I watched the programme again today.
She is sitting playing the violin behind the the two singers.
As the curtain opens at the back for the choir... an odd move anyway cos it was on the very last note of their song... she puts down the violin and picks up her egg basket , runs to the front of the stage and throws eggs.
She is happy and smiling. She is not agitated or worried as someone who was about to be arrested or rumbled would be. She does not act like a loony with a mission.
Inside Job without a doubt.
Probably to get the whole thing you tubed for publicity quickly. |

There has always been and always will be a market for manufactured bands, the only thing Simon Cowell is doing is conducting the selection process in public. And there will always be a market for those who go about it in a different way. 130,000 people watching the Stone Roses over the weekend for example. Talent will always rise to the top, think people need to relax a little and see BGT and X Factor for what they are which is good old fashioned family entertainment on a Saturday night rather than a Simon Cowell seeking world domination! If he makes a few quid along the way then fine by me. |

yeah, you ought to be careful slinging about phrases like that seeing as the man, while detestable, has yet to be found guilty of anything. Just a warning before you're Bercowed.
An all Cowell is guilty of is giving people what he tells them they want. ie a new disposable pop star every year. And to do it he gives the audience the ability to laugh, poke fun, deride and judge people in the most soul destroying fashion, which is what people love to do.
The market was already there, he just wrapped the whole unpleasant business in a sparkly casing and feeds it to people through their eyeballs every saturday. |

Apparently the egg thrower was a former contestant from last year BGT…. Who now says she regrets her foolish behaviour…..
Well there’s a surprise..... Just a fame hungry arsehole who didn't give a shit about ruining someone else’s chance of achieving success just so she could get her name in the papers....
