I was shaking my head (the one on my shoulders for a change) and tutting at the dreadful grammar in a post earlier today......
I have just had a look at my profile and could not believe how many typos's there were in it (thanks iPhone and you're predictive text). It made me wonder...
Are there lots of atrocious profiles on here and does it put you off??
Oh, and to the person I was irritated with this morning, I am very sorry. I'm so glad I didn't say anything |

This day and age, spell check and grammar checking can easily performed with a few clicks.
Not to do so is a sign of laziness, regardless of one's intelligence or ability to learn, IMHO!

There's a big difference to me between a few spelling mistakes or the odd bit of bad grammar and blatant laziness and text speak. Some people just aren't very good at spelling/grammar. I know mine is probably far from perfect. But you can usually tell the genuine mistakes from the ones where people can't be bothered. |

We all make instant judgements.
Some of the people We have met have had really poor spelling and grammar, they were still nice people and very sexy too.
Initially, I suppose, We assumed that someone who took care to use proper English in their profile would be equally careful in their social habits.

Is there any easy way to check grammar on a phone? I often read back things I've written and think they might be incorrect but aside from autocorrect for spelling I've not come across one? Maybe there's an app? X |

I totally agree, I was lazy and did not go back over what I had written. For some reason I presumed that because I can spell, I can also type! |

Don't know about tablets as I don't have or use one.
However, grammar checking is non-existent on my phone.
I must admit not to grammar-check often, as I would like to be I am correct most of the time.
Besides, I can always use the excuse that English is not my first language!

There is a big difference between those who don't care, and those who do care yet can't do anything about it, IMHO. |
