Yes I think hairy chests are very sexy too. I don't like the overly groomed look on a guy. Yes a guy has to be clean and fresh but all this waxing chests, bums, manicured nails, soft hands and moisturised faces puts me off a guy.
And I really don't like guys with shaped eyebrows and fake tan. That is a total no no for me.

I used to have a hairy back too, but have gone down the waxing route for some years now for reasons of my comfort and not sheer vanity - and it's much nicer for all concerned.

Maybe a need to get sociological and look at identity politics and in particular the way we construct them with our bodies?
Re. the presentation of the self: one of the last things I see myself as is any kind of 70’s medallion man, porn star type, etc. I do however remember being peed off somewhat by the rise of the hairless bloke. Which to me resembles a baby rat.
I have never in any way flaunted or showed off my chest to try to get pussy. Maybe I should have done? In the present the breakup of marriage (the time when I had 24-7 pussy) and my subsequent search for sex on line has given me a new need to deconstructe my body perhaps like I have never done before.

I get the lawn mower out on mine every 3 or 4 weeks just to keep trim and stop it from tickling my nose pmsl
Only shaved it once. Bollox to that. Never doing that again. Leslie ended up with razor rash all up her tits from bouncing on top ha ha. |

This thread it's great - after a long time feeling very self conscious about my lack of smoothness (it seemed almost obligatory on here), I've decided "sod it" and have changed my profile pic to show off my (seriously) hairy chest . It'd genuinely become an issue, so this is a big moment for me.
Thank you people (especially the ladies). Feel free to run fingers through etc etc
