Ants!!!! I must have a nest in my garden, there's hundreds of them playing follow the leader up my bin!! I've no ant killer in so need home made remedies, thank you kindly |

Sprinkle some cornmeal around their trail .... It's irresistible to them but they can’t digest it so once it kills the queen the rest of the colony will just leave...
Or sprinkle sugar that’s been mixed with anti-freeze…. (Just make sure no pets can get at it though)

Talc really really does work don't know why the little buggers don't like it, but alaways put some outside my back door and they hate it. Hope it helps. |

Ruby has a real ant problem every year, and specially this year. She has some evil-looking powder she puts down on the little buggers... I'll find out what it is for ya..

It's RAID Ant Powder. Must be good, as her house is practically at sea level and has an 'on-going ant issue'!! Lol! Sorts the little sods out though

Step away from the flame thrower,,,
You have to kill the queen/queens to successfully dislodge an Ant colony…..
Which is why poisoned bait works because the worker Ants collect it and feed it to the queen/queens who remains protected from most other forms of attack deep in the heart of the nest……

I've been setting those ant baits, that kill the nest and I have to say 1 in the house and 3 on the garden and I haven't seen an ant in days They won a battle the other day and I've still got the blisters but I've won the war |
