Ok the sun has been out as have the flimsy summery dresses, on the ladies and shorts on the guys.

Mr Blue Sky is my summer song, always worth a blast.

What is your summer anthem?

Brighton - even Hove!

Almost any Beach Boys as above, 'Summer in the City' by The Lovin' Spoonful but happy times were had listening to 'Good Enough' by Dodgy and it always reminds me of that summer. Happy Daze.

Brighton - even Hove!

I didn't mean to copy the choice of the guy from Brighton above me so scrub my Lovin' Spoonful choice and I'll change it to 'Itchykoo Park' by the Small Faces. In fact, I'm so loved up 60's style, I'll sing it to you all. Deep breath...

*sings*

"Over the Bridge of Sighs

To rest my eyes in shades of green

Under Dreaming Spires

To Itchycoo Park, that's where I've been

(Chorus 1)

What did you do there? - I got high

What did you feel there? - Well I cried

But why the tears there? - I'll tell you why - yyyyy

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful

(Bridge)

I feel inclined to blow my mind

Get hung up, feed the ducks with a bun

They all come out to groove about

Be nice and have fun in the sun

I'll tell you what I'll do - What will you do?

I'd like to go there now with you

You can miss out school - Won't that be cool

Why go to learn the words of fools?

(Chorus 2)

What will we do there? - We'll get high

What will we touch there? - We'll touch the sky

But why the tears there? I'll tell you why

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful

I feel inclined to blow my mind

Get hung up, feed the ducks with a bun

They all come out to groove about

Be nice and have fun in the sun

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful

It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful"
