Hi poeple,
I don't have bad teeth. However, I am looking at having mine whitened simply because I like how clean they look.
Had anyone had this done, does it hurt? How much?
Thx |

Saw a programe on those DIY tooth kits.
Most will damage your teeth beyond repair.
Get it done by a proper recommended dentist.
They are all listed on line on one of the NHS sites. |

The different whitening products are probably ok if your teeth are just stained. They won't make teeth whiter than their natural colour though. If this was required you would probably need veneers |

I had mine done about 6 months ago by my dentist. It cost me £70 but I believe that was discounted as I am on a monthly payment scheme. It was painless, tasted a bit like sherbert exploding in your mouth and had a positive result. 6 months on, I am not convinced my teeth look any different from how they looked before the treatment but that may be memory issues rather than the treatment only working temporarily. I don't regret having it done but was told by the dentist that yellowish teeth is not a sign of bad dental health but may be to do with the thickness of the enamel on the teeth, or something like that. |

Mahogany ones are cheaper but you have to clean them with Mr Sheen |
