As a single guy credit is the least of your concerns being 1 in 90,000 is what credits me..............no other place on earth would you take those odds save when there is a chance of being laid! |

On the whole yeah im happy with the responses to me as a person and my view points, frustrated perhaps that other people have got me slightly wrong. When i was fresh to this place i was certainly more needy and sadly people's opinions have stuck with that initial impression

We don't work on credit ...we turn up without any selling of ourselves in mind and are often rewarded with pleasant company lol

I have only met two people off fab, but met them both twice. I would like to think I treated both as fellow human beings and with respect, and showed appreciation for a really happy tome with them. Perhaps the fact thay both were happy to meet again shows that i got it right. |

I have heard people quote the ratio of men to women quite often but in reality nobody I have met has said count yourself lucky I could have met one of the other 89,999 guys here instead of you.
Does having a huge variety of options stop somebody giving people the credit they deserve? |

Yes and no..
In regards to the forums;
Some people may get my humour, others don't.
Some people reply to my posts others dont.
Some like me, others don't.
Does any of it matter? No.
I used to take things seriously and was over sensitive and that was MY problem.
Fab on a whole,for me is great. Although I'm no longer meeting, and can't see me meeting again, I enjoy coming here.
I had a break for a bit and itas done me the world of good.  |

I don't think many people expect any credit here ? Sure its a community website, and its fun to participate as a form of release but any credit or appreciation won't generally effect your day to day lifestyle unless you're engaging regularly with members off site.
Having said that, I'm confident that insensitive remarks and abuse can stick in peoples minds even offline. |

Personally I don't expect credit from anyone on here. I do like to think that as I take the effort to get to know those that I meet that I get the credit that I think I deserve. Just as in life really, I know that we are not always going to get the credit we deserve, but sometimes, just sometimes we are surprised by someone that sees you for what you really are. God I love those "wow" moments!! |
