If you could "uninvent" one thing what would it be?

I know i'm stuck in the middle ages, but I can't stand these all singing and dancing mobile phones! A mobile phone is good for texting and ringing.... If I want to go on the internet i've got my laptop. If I want to watch tv i've got the telly..... I don't want a phone to do all these things aswell... I'm guessing i'm in the minority? lol  |

Talent shows on telly- i've yet to see much talent on the times i've been unfortunate enough to encounter one- too many karaoke singers murdering good music with excessive notes.
Have decided to listen to Etta James tomorrow to restore the yinyang balance to the universe |

Yep I did! You will have noticed - I hope - that OP wrote "uninvent". Speech marks usually signal the reader that he/she is allowed some freedom in interpreting the word and in this instance they indicate a different meaning of a word or phrase than the one typically associated with. So although STDs and pedophiles were not as such "invented" they are none the less undesirable..and I will bloody well UNINVENT them if I feel like it! |
