Yes, but only on petty stuff.

When I was working in social housing, a very long time ago, I agreed to cover the reception phone on Christmas Eve so that my staff could all go and have lunch. Only three of us left in the office.

I took an two 'emergency' phone calls. One person wanted us to get there immediately to fix her washing line as it had come down. We hadn't put it up in the first place.

Another wanted an emergency repair on a damp patch in her kitchen. When I asked her when it had appeared, me fearing a burst pipe or something, she calmly told me it had been there for 6 months. When I refused to send out an emergency repair team she went ballistic on me.
