So china as bern able to block on the Internet child porn so why can't we?
I must admit in all the years of being on the Internet I've never saw anything nasty just regular porn so people must be really looking for it and can't stumble on by accident as I think that's bull!! |

Because these people quietly remove most of it without any fuss

China achieves what it does because of state control and censorship of all media and communications including the internet.
Personally I would rather have freedom of expression than state tyrrany. |

China blocks a lot of things - couldn't get quite a few of my favourites whilst I was there, including BBC, internet banking or any social networking sites....

All for freedom of expression but if there is a way to block child porn shouldn't it be in operation already??!! |

I think the porn blocking is a side effect of blocking everything they don't approve of.
And yesterday our Government was asking Google to do more to prevent people from accessing ANY porn, not just child porn, which might be a problem for some people on here. |

no matter what gets put in place some folk will find ways around it they always do,otherwise internet crime wouldn't exist,there are things in place to supposedly stop that and that doesn't work! |
