Does anyone know if its possible for someone to get info like deleted text messages and how many times a number has been text even without haveing the phone we think this happened to a friend with her ex if so is this illegal I hope there are some knowledgeable people out there that knows we have called the provider and they so no but he insists he can |

Not sure on how their piggy back relationship is with O2 is but O2 has blue book that links messages with the phone no. In theory it would be possible to get that information as network providers are bound by legislation to keep messages for 12 months for anti terrorist purposes. However hacking O2 would be a big ask for anyone.
There is another option and that someone close to her location wise has bluejacked her phone and reads incoming outgoing messages. |

I know 02 to if you have signed up online, all my messages even deleted ones was there,
I found this out by a crazy ex who made me a account so she could check up on me and tell everyone that I loved her, she said in her own words "if I can't have you no one can"

Sounds like its speculation and an attempt to intimidate both have legal repercussions. She might well call his bluff and tell him she is passing what he has said onto the authorities. |

I'm on giffgaff and hav full access to my online account- i've yet to see anywhere that gives me a detailed breakdown of calls and texts- think someone is talking shullbit  |

he just been a pratt then why some people carnt take I dont want to be with u anymore and cause all this heartache and stress I will never know thanks to all again xx

Has he just said that he has the information, but not actually said anything that will prove to you that he does know something? He might just be bluffing.
I had an ex that used to say similar things to me- that he had hacked my phone etc and knew what I was doing/ who I was talking to etc. It was all just a lie to freak me out and mess with my head. Hope you get it sorted. x |

While true in its purest sense - SMS is almost as secure as telex and virtually unhackable, if you are using some 3rd party to send txts via a data link suck as whatsapp then you could possibly intercept the data.
However, you need some major league infrastructure and cost alone would put that beyond most people.
You're probably being bluffed ....

Write a diary of everything they say and do. Then report as a stalker. To be classed as a stalker they have to act in a way that a normal person would know is unreasonable. Tapping/claiming to tap phone calls and texts is far from reasonable.
