why do so many people want to meet so late we had one couple who couldn't meet till 11pm that's bed time lol

Understandable if one has children .. Can only do late nights at club where I can sleep over about once every 6 weeks or so but have children to consider so random night rendezvous , as much as I would like , are impossible

Guess it depends on peoples lifestyle and circumstances.

We prefer 8pm meets and than have all evening to play.With our usual travelling time of 1 hour and me working every other week-end i like to be home by 3am latest on a week-end + midnight weekday

Do wonder about the last min.latenight invites tho

....well we never go and often receive apologies the next day about the d*unken OH

We don't finish work until midnight , we don't mind playing in the pub , but not with customers still in .....

I've had that, guys wanting to meet when I have finished work ie 10pm and a couple who lived several hours away that wanted me to drive to theirs at 5am
