A world of my own

Just watching it on ITV, it was OK in its time but I much preferred The Rockford Files, Harry O, Magnum PI, Streets of San Francisco, Police Woman, Chips, SWAT, Starsky and Hutch to name a few. If you are of a certain age, what detective/cop shows did you like?

I had a thing for Tom Selleck and Angie 'Pepper' Dickinson myself and them, what a fabby 3-sum that would have made.

I know it strictly isn't a series, but Dirty Harry, starring Clint Eastwood.

" Now you gotta ask yourself one question ...... "

Oh and lets not forget 'Police Squad' starring 'Leslie Nielson'

Someone above mentioned Dixon of Dock Green - now that was class, especially the film, 'The Blue Lamp' 'Cumon son, put the gun down'

There was also a little known US cop drama I loved called 'Chopper One' (1974) about police helicopter pilots and it starred Dirk Benedict ( later aka Face in the A Team).
