They're advertising for a "nearly dead" person to donate their body to medical science so that Ray Mears can be dropped into the Andes Mountains for a month where he has to live off a human corpse. |

presuming that Tron is right about the show, what gets me is why Ray Mears doesn't just live off the same food as the producer, soundman, and cameraman". He could still watch the body decay and tell us that he'd eat this bit on monday, that bit on tuesday, etc, etc, if he had to do so. He doesn't actually have to eat it.
is he going to skin the dead person in order to make a tent ?
i must admit i'd sooner that it went pear-shaped and the show became "Watch Ray Mears get eaten alive by a Jaguar". |

The Andes is the largest continental mountain range in the world, is has several different average temperatures depending on where you are, not all of it is cold
