Ladies if you was called a slut during a chat on here how would it make u feel?
I was called a greedy slut yesterday and it has upset me a little, not sure which why u r supposed to take something like that ! |

Okay seriously .....
No. I don't like it. I don't know why men do it. There's probably a myriad of different reasons ranging from stimulation to lack of esteem to a slightly sadist streak not to mention just not knowing how to behave....
There's been times when i've liked it .... guess it's a time, a place , a state of mind.
In general.... ive shut down messages and chat for less. |

You are not. If it was someone who knew you well, depending on the context, and it was said in jest then it might be acceptable. But from a total stranger on a website it is unacceptable. However, that's just how I feel. Other people may feel differently. |

I think perhaps Slapper has a certain jovial connotation thats found lacking in the term Slut….

I'd never call a woman a I was interested in a slut, after all, should we end up in bed together if I'm only good enough for 'sluts' then that really doesn't say much for my calibre does it? |

You dont take it. And it would upset me too, Ive been lucky never been called that, the way we might behave on a meet to the way we behave at a social would be totally different in my opinion. Socials for me would be a bit flirty, chatty, on a meet well im a bit shy, but if people want to behave a bit slutty on a meet if that suits both sides then why not but if not then not. He sounds like a pratt |

Someone called me a cunt the other day... I sort of found that pretty offensive.
I dare say it would depend on the context and who said it. A random I think I'd move along, in a sexual situation with someone you know/trust is a different matter. |

Depends on how well you know them, I wouldn't walk up to someone in the street and say hello slut, just like I wouldn't message someone.
But if after you've met and it's kind of a playful or naughty thing then yes. |

I actually don't mind it if its said in the right context. If someone on here said it in a first message they would find themselves with a gobful from Ruby and a place on my block list.
The word slag though makes me itch, if someone calls me it they should have running shoes on! |

I have never chatted slutty. Acted slutty I am in fact quiet shy  Even when we have had meets both social and for fun it has always been nice and relaxed and chilled.

Im a bit like this. I like to think im relaxed etc on meets but got told once by a guy in msg that he thinks im not relaxed sexually. Its because I know im not experienced enough sexually for guys. |

It took me a while to get used to the Mrs enjoying me using words like that while we were playing as I always saw it as offensive,however if anyone else was to call her that she'd knock him out before I got the chance to lol  |

My experience is, many ladies call themselves slut on here , there is often a thread asking how slutty are you ? With many replies . As suggested context is key but in essence the word on this site is a compliment or certainly could be taken as such , as with many words the intent and context are vastly more relevant than the word itself x |

I almost feel I'm the last on here who should comment, but my username may invite such input.
In general, from strangers, it's reasonable to assume that it's an insult. If people want to compliment someone, and use such words, they are either socially inadequate, or not being honest to themselves or others.
Anyone who needs to put another down is weak. There's a time and place for verbal sexual chat/name calling, and that's largely between people who agree to it, or in porn.
Sadly there are those around us who don't understand basic human respect for each other, and how to socially conduct themselves. They are likely lacking in early childhood development maturity, so the rest of us adults are better off without them. |

depends how you take the word slut
If you see a slut as a dirty person with no pride in who they shag then no it don't say a lot for your calibre
If you see a slut as a sexually liberated woman then I think your calibre's still intact
People see it meaning different things and not everyone uses it as a negative form, I do however think men should make sure women are ok with being called a slut before they do so, lots of women actually like this type of talk |

Trouble is there are many words used to insult women, e.g. cunt, tart, slag, slut, but none for men, pejoratively speaking they are interpreted as compliments.
Misogyny lives on in the English language or does it?
Words like cocksmith, swordsman, lothario may have originated as insults to men but have now been accepted as complimentary, maybe in years to come cunt, slag, slut will be too?
Then again if anyone called me a greedy slut they would be left with air to talk into .....I'd be off. |

I Hate it.
There are only a couple of people on here who are allowed to call me a slut, and then only because I know them well enough to know they don't mean it.
A complete stranger calling me slut would effectively end any chance they had of getting to know me better

I think it's one of the worst things to call a woman even if this site is for organising consenting sexual activity between adults, there are many other names tht aren't quite as degarding & belittling as being called a slut. I wouldn't allow even my husband to call me tht....x  |

Met a guy that i had been messaging and getting on well with,but in person there wasnt that "click" and i told him so.....he said that was ok win some ya lose some.
Then he txt me later and said "2 be honest you were the most uglyiest woman i have ever met".........why he thought he had to add that I will never know
I never profess to be anything but me!
So again as already said Slut isnt nice either xx |

It sounds to me as though "greedy slut" was said in an intentionally derogatory manner. If that's the case, then you are better off not knowing the man. If that is his attitude in chat, then he is likely to be equally unpleasant in real life.
Slut is a word that I'd only use in an agreed role play situation or perhaps very rarely in humour with someone who I knew very well.
And in comment to the replies above, I never, ever understand why so many men have to turn offensive when a woman tells him that she's not interested in him. It's hardly gonna make her change her mind??????

It is the only thing I take offence to.
It to me is a name used as a derogatory term. Used by a dom in reference to his sub.
I call nobody sir, so nobody calls me slut!
Had the male of a couple call me slut, needless to say no meet was arranged.
I'm many things, but a slut I'm most definitely not! |
