I had one on yesterday asking for a local meet and the only people who were interested lived miles away."
You still have a better chance of meeting a man than me meeting a woman. The nearest to me was Portsmouth.....40 miles away which I would travel to tbh.....just didn't fit criteria.  |

The numbers don't suprise me - and if you wanted to do your analysis on a daily basis over a month - i'm sure patterns would emerge as to who is actually using this method - and how successful they actually are!
My guess would be that there's a minority that click the button daily and are still waiting for that first response weeks/months later!
Like the rest of Fab - it's a tool to use or not. I'm sure some site members have no need for it and if they did post a 'meet today' would be innundated with applicants. Others sit back and wait with an empty inbox.
It's always best to use it with no expectancy. Therefore there'll be no disappointment if you have no luck! |

I've posted ads for meets - though not the meet today ones. I get a lot of offers. Sometimes it works out but often it attracts people who I would never meet and do not fit anything I am looking for. I think there are some who just see the ad and don't bother reading the profile. Maybe they see an ad as desperation so your preferences don't count (I've actually had messages which have said similar). |

You should live in ireland, I don't think I have ever seen a woman look for a meet and the odd couple with loads of males looking. Rather be in the uk any day. Looked today at meets
