Something we just conjured up last week, we call it 'Pleb Sundae'
It is made from members who join the site late at night, beaten to a pulp then served with lashings of cream - yummmy |

"I don't have a dessert.
I have a starter instead then a main course.
I am a savoury kinda guy than a sweet tooth kind.
snap
Me 3, give me a cheeseboard over a dessert anyday x"
Agreed. Oatcakes and a selection of the many fine cheeses made in Scotland. If only we had the climate for making Port |

I like your style.
Nice oatcakes with a strong mature cheese with red wine and some grapes on the side......wonderful.
Its my dream to go to France for a cheese and wine holiday, i think that will be fantastic and a change from usual holidays of the Canaries or Portugal. |

For me it has to be tiramisu. One time when the kids were much younger and my wife still with us, they took me out for my birthday to a local Italian, and we filled up on dough balls, pizzas etc.. I always had a portion of tiramisu at the end, no matter how full, but the buggers had arranged to bring out an entire tray of it (i.e. about 8 portions!), with a huge candle in the middle of it..
Of course male pride dictated that I had to eat it all... |

.
It is very easy to make, just need a electric whisk! I can knock one up in less than 30min. However, it does require a day in the fridge to mature, as in for the sponge fingers to soak up the moisture in the cheese mixture to make them soggy. |

Summer pudding with Elmlea cream ....
Nothing fancy, nothing with French sounding names, just old fashioned summer pudding and cream as manufactured by my wife
Yummy |
