"Not my goods I'm afraid.....styling is a little to safe with not enough whimsy....
whats bloody whimsy ffs ???"
Frivolous bits that are just for show and serve no purpose other than to please the artistic flair of an individual designer.....
I just feel the F-type looks like the sort of safe compromise you’d expect of a car designed by a committee…. ...

There are a lot of sexier cars about in the world. The only sexy jag is the E type.
These few others are very sexy just off the top of my head.
67 shelby mustang gt fastback
Shelby cobra 427
Nissan GTR new one or the R34
F 40
Enzo
DB 5 aston martin
Lambo countach
If I can think of more ill post them

i have had jags and daimlers too, love a british built sports car i do but for the money i'd rather have a aston martin vantage than a f type purely due to the badge and they are more exclusive and you can't ever find a cheap aston but jags on the other hand go down in value and become scrap value. |

I guess it depends on what you class as a cheap Aston. Vantages can be had for less than £30k which is a lot of car for the money. That said, think I'd probably have an F-Type over a Vantage because good though the Vantage is, it's an 8 year old design now.
And to cover the comment earlier, it wasn't designed by commitee, it was designed by a team for the same man who designed the DB7 and Vanquish - Ian Callum. He would have absolute say on the design of the car. |

saw a 2007 vantage manual on ebay yesterday for 30 grand and your not gonna lose a huge chunk of wedge putting your money into that |
