I wasa in love once,she finished it,it broke my heart for 5 years.Went on a complete bender for those years,then just stopped drinking and said fuck it.The sad part about it is that I find it very hard to get emotional again. |

no such thing..! lust..yes... love?.... something girls were blagged about in fairy tail books....my definition anyway.... tried it.... hurts too much.....
cynical you think?... could work if both parties had the sam definition... but wtf are the chances of that!!!!

Awww come on you sappy cynical bunch. This has been going on since year dot and you're not the only people to experience it.
Yes things turn sour, yes it feels awful but you going to let it be defining moment in life ?Plenty of examples of happy ppeople in second relationship....and if you can't get over it maybe it was you being too clingy and needy that broke you up. Be loving and don't concentrate on what you're not getting....someone will love you back for it.....omg I feel nauseous for writing that  |

Once, with my husband, and he'll always have a piece of my heart. Gave me four beautiful children, sadly it was the death of our son, whose birthday it would have been tomorrow, that broke us.
There was no cheating, no pain equals standing by your childs grave. I sincerely hope I find a love to equal what I had with my husband again: it's a wonderful feeling.
I feel quite sorry for the cynical and bitter: mindless sex with strangers is no substitute...in my view of course. |

...and I'm hoping for a third time. Because despite the hurt, pain, anger and despair if it doesn't last, the feeling of being in love and of being loved is truly breathtaking.

Truely, deeply in love only once.
He makes me laugh, makes me cry, makes me happy and makes me sad but for all of both of our faults I love him like I never believed was possible until I met him.
Together we have been through more pain than any couple should have to endure and despite the physical side of our relationship no longer being there, the love I feel for my husband is as strong as it ever has been |

Twice! Will always care for my ex husband as he gave me my kids! Just saddens me we can't talk anymore without our hurt getting in the way! Second time well he broke my heart 3 months ago! Still trying to get over it!

I thought I had twice and almost married one. Thank goodness it didn't happen or I never would have what I have now. An amazing guy who I am truly in love with. Real love.

I'm not sure it really exists...for me anyway, I've given up ever finding someone I feel that strongly about, I have been in lust a few times tho, that's a nice feeling.  |

how many of us fell off our bikes as kids and got back on again..
its part of what defines most of us as people..
told the OH that if i am hit by a bus tomorrow i would be dissapointed if after whatever time she felt necessary to grieve etc she did not find someone else to share life with..
loving and being loved is a big part of living.. |
