Yes, I know he's dead, but interring his body, blowing some air into him and he couldn't do a worse job than any of the idiots we've had in power over the past 20 years!! |

Labour all the way
As a working class family .. As shit as they all are ..... labour more likely to look after us
Tories are and always will be looking after their own upper middle class arses
The rest will never ever get in power.. If the liberals hasn't crawled into bed with the Tories at the last election they may have had a chance in the future .. But I thing señor clegg has royally fucked that chance up |

"Time for a change, they can do no worse than the idiots we have had since the war.............UKIP for me!"
I think you'll find that a party with only 2 policies, Leaving the EU and stopping immigration are able to do a hell of a lot worse.
I'll be voting libdem. Although I agree the party is now fucked forever because of the coalition and it's broken promises, I will not give my vote to another party as a protest, neither will I not vote. |

"Born a Tory
Die a Tory
Only one vote for me "
Born into a family of Socialists
In the past have voted LibDem, Labour and Tory. I vote according to who I think would help the country most.
Witnessed the havoc reeked by New Labours social experiments
I would vote Tory. |

For me it would be lib dem, same as the last election.
My reason being that my area is a huge labour stronghold. For the last election the labour party brought in one of their ministerial hopefuls who'd lost his seat in the previous election. The brought him in to a safe labour constituency, in an area that he had never even visited before and has only visited twice since.
Lib dem is the closest rival to labour here. |

Always voted Tory, but Cameron and co are not true Conservatives, absolutely hate Socialism, the Limp Dims are, well, limp and dim, so it has to be UKIP. Now if they could find a new Mrs T. the blues could tempt me back.
I just know that will wind a few up on here |

Probably Labour but as round here a single celled life form wearing a blue rosette is elected every time it is in some ways wasted..
however ones principles and beliefs etc..
Whoever catches the centre will get in, Blair for all his faults recognised that and won the 'popular vote'..
Cameron is having to fight the 'true tories' from within to modernise his party as he also knows where the going is good..
UKIP have gained some support and will gain more from disaffected Tories but they are clueless on the policies needed to get the economy going again..
far right and far left will remain just that, the centre is where the game will be won..

It will no doubt be a "vote for the best of a bad bunch" so I am undecided
I probably won't vote UKIP. The only thing I've heard from them is their desire to leave the EU and control immigration, but very little on how to get the economy moving again.. |

I vote cause I have the right.
Who gets that vote is a different story. I did some research on the local MP and I found out a whole lot of personal information about him online yet not a word on his policies or what he stood for. I know how many siblings he has and what his hobbies are though. Useful. If they spent a little more time in their politics than their personal life I'd be more inclined to vote for them.
They're all a shower of fuckwits. |

Today it would be Labour. Most likely to be more focused on the majority's needs than the others. I;m open minded about tomorrow.
Liedems just lied too much and have enabled the torys to degrade our lovely country too much. Dead party walking.
Conservatives - bunch of swivel eyed loons, as one of them correctly noticed about themselves. Hateful, pathological bunch of the sinister, selfish, intolerant and sociopathic. Turned a recovering economy with Labour into flatlined chronic recession. Manipulated people's hatred for their fellow citzens, such as against disabled and benefit recipients, with divide and conquer strategies the type of which the Nazis used to cover their psychopathic evils.
UKIP - reactionary, 1 dimensional lightweights. No cohesive, comprehensive vision, but divisive and hateful bunch who wish to further inflict untold financial damage to our country. Led by a narcissistic clown. |

I struggle every election to choose who to vote for. I cant understand those that tick the same box year on year because thats how they always vote or because there parents voted that way. I'd remove the vote from them! Actually I have now lost interest in politics, I am sick to death of way we are treated by politicians. Misspeaking = lies, refusal to answer direct questions = something to hide or fear of being held to account. And how quickly they switch from being the constituency representative in parliament to the parties representative in the constituency sickens me. So who would I vote for... none of them! I will again spoil my ballet paper with 'none of the above'. |

I very rarely answer on any political/religious/personalty threads; so this might be my only time i do;
Every 5 years we the PUBLIC get the opportunity to vote in a government and the this time round the PUBLIC voted in a Tory / Coalition Government because YOU the PUBLIC where fed up of the last government, its policies, its leaders, their failure in the finance sector.
Over the last 30 years YOU the PUBLIC have turned out to voice your opinions at the ballot box as follows;
1983 72% Tory voted in
1987 75% Tory voted in - snap election
1992 79% Tory voted in
1997 71% Labour voted in
2001 59% Labour voted in - massive drop
2005 61% Labour voted in
2010 65% Tory/coalition voted in
Apathy springs to mind - so i say either turn up at the ballot box or shut up because those that don't vote should not have a say, because they didnt care enough in first place
Jon ....steps off his soap box and awaits a ban lol |

It is not that simple... When (as now) there is very little to chose between candidates it is far from apathy that keeps the voters away! Why vote when the choice is no choice. |

"Turned a recovering economy with Labour into flatlined chronic recession"
Time for a McEnroe moment.
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!!!!!!"
take a minute and look at the IFS data for how things were prior to and post the 2008 global financial meltdown..
the right are happy to say that Labour ruined the country etc even though the facts are there if one chooses to look at them 'objectively'..
also that everything Labour did regarding further deregulation of the financial sector (started by Maggie during her tenure)was fully supported by err Cameron and the Tory party..
lets be honest they had to as the tax revenue was about 24% of GDP from said, had it been the other way around Labour would have also done so i think..
now its gone tits up as Osbornes plan has failed and whilst they have reduced the defecit, National debt is higher than at anytime in our lifetimes post ww2..
but that funnily enough is because the Euro zone is a mess..
cant have it both ways if one wants to be taken seriously.. |

I don't vote because I have that choice, and refuse to compromise my integrity deciding between a fuckwit, a moron, a twat and an arsehole. I have better things to do with my time. Thousands struggled, fought and died for my right to vote, not an obligation to vote. |

We are not in the Euro though....
If you mean the EU, then maybe people should take the time to listen to our top industrial and finance directors, who this week put out a lengthy statement as to why we need to stay in the EU. |

A couple of people here talking about Labour's terrible 'social experiments'...
Like what, exactly?
The minimum wage?
Civil partnerships?
Lifting the ban on gay people in the Armed Forces?
Revoking Section 28?
Or is this talk about letting in all the evil foreigners again? |

They have another policy too you know - they want to stop all funding for climate change research until climate change has actually been proven.
I'm not fucking joking here - they actually stated that in their last manifesto |

Have to smile at some of these comments. We actually got precisely the government we voted for. Yes it's called a coalition. It's where 2 parties agree to form a government and do a few things that were on their wish list and compromise on other things, vascilate a bit on others and shout Ya boo sucks we're in charge at the opposition. And yes the lack of direction means the economy has stagnated a bit. Yep That's definitely coalition politics so if you don't like it go and vote for something else next time round that you fancy different LOL. |

Well I suppose we could start with Mandelsons admission that they actually "sent out search parties" for immigrants, but that to one side.
We could go on to comprehensive education, a complete unmitigated disaster for millions of kids who now have the right political views but don't know shit from clay (or spell either)about the real world.
How about a tax borrow and spend regime that bankrupted the country?
Nor forgetting their rabid support for militant trade unions that bankrupted the country the previous time they were in power.
98% tax rates in the 60's and 70's
Building a client state of people either reliant on benefits or working in the public sector while punishing the private sector who actually paid for it.
I could go on but since you seem to be keen on gay issues, who gave you gay marriage? The TORIES, that's who. |

Of course, Turkeys don't vote for Chritsmas, do they?
Multinational bosses will always stick to the comfort zone of the status quo. However, take a poll of small/medium businesses who are hamstrung by EU rules and regulations and stuck in a shrinking market while the rest of the world leaves us behind. You will get a completely different answer. |

Honestly don't know...all seem to promise the earth but deliver feck all when it comes to it! Local parties I haven't bothered with as all the flyers they put through my door in a run up to an election just slate the opposition rather than stating what they will actually do and voting just seems like your taking part in a slanging match rather than looking after the area |

The only people who are telling him it's rubbish are the vested interests of the teachers unions.

I turn up at the ballot box, every time, but I don't vote for anyone. Is that me being too lazy to vote? No. However, I won't put my cross next to someone if I don't believe in them. Every government since the second world war have systematically destroyed this country..it doesn't matter whether they are red or blue, they are only in it for themselves and their own gain. So why is it a wasted vote when I choose actively NOT to vote? If there was a 'none of the above' option, I would put my cross down. |
