They make light fluffy mash without having to use too much butter, milk cream etc. Plus I used to use mine to make spaghetti bolognaise ice cream.... push vanilla ice through it swirl on red jelly and grated chocolate... the kids loved it!

Get the forzen mash briquettes from Tescos. You just pop em in the m/wave and three minutes later you got perfect mash every time. Very tasty too.

I find it easier to use than a potato mesher for making meshed potato.

However, if you already have other kitchen gadgets that can do the job, then I would not bother.

Ermmm if you get them we are gonna have serious words i cant eat charcoal briqettes but would give croquettes a go
