They make light fluffy mash without having to use too much butter, milk cream etc. Plus I used to use mine to make spaghetti bolognaise ice cream.... push vanilla ice through it swirl on red jelly and grated chocolate... the kids loved it!  |

I find it easier to use than a potato mesher for making meshed potato.
However, if you already have other kitchen gadgets that can do the job, then I would not bother.  |

Ermmm if you get them we are gonna have serious words i cant eat charcoal briqettes but would give croquettes a go
