I use our local store nearly every day. They sell a lot of branded goods and it's value for money.

Poundland is only about 100 yards away from me and I love it!

There are some things I only get from there like toilet rolls, milk and dog toys.

Question is, why wouldn't you use them. As someone said they often have branded stuff do a fraction of the price. Why let snobbery cost you more than is needed

There's a Pound Kingdom on Ealing Broadway - so presumably they have a king

Always worth checking poundland out for those little latex disposable vibrating cock rings

Our pound shops and 99p stores have started selling things cheaper than that takes all the fun out of going in and asking how much stuff was

They sell the shampoo I use in the pound shop but they sell it in Wilkinsons for 97p. You can get quite a few bits cheaper in there actually and just think of all those 3p's you'll save!

I always use pound shops to get tombola and raffle prizes. Never trust their batteries though as they never seem 'full'.

"We have had Poundworld open in Peterborough the question is what is the difference between poundworld and poundland lol x"

Poundland is an American owned company and Poundworld is a British owned company. Poundland has the bigger range of stock, but both can be good value if you pick and choose what you buy, a lot of stuff can at times be cheaper in Asda etc. Always worth a look to see what they have in stock though

Our poundworld is opposit Asda if it is an American company would'nt it be a dollar shop. If its an American shop I would love it if it sold American sweets lol x

The American versions of it are and probably do lol.

There was a tv programme about the 2 of them a couple of months ago, Poundland refused to be interviewed and Poundworld (the British owned company), got as much free publicity from it as possible lol.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

They are not always best on price. Look at the size they are selling and the item. I was asked to leave a Poundland last year for telling a student that the washing up liquid he was buying would cost less in Sainsbury's a few doors down.

Lots of new 97p stores seem to be springing up now.
