pot of boiling water.... keep the lid on!!!
one of my abiding memories of being in the carribean as a 10 yr old is watching this plucky crab try to escape 3 times.... the third occasion it lifted the lid
at that point I said to gran.. let it go.... she said.. nah!!!!
never eaten crab since....

If you went to Deal with them, then that's easy. First you'll need a map of Kent, and some of those mini cards you get in xmas crackers. One of them can deal whilst you make your way to reintroduce them with their aquatic cousins
