I'd definitely go with these too. Fantastic quality and the strip at the top is wider than most so stays put. I'm a size 22/24 and the X-large is too big so I go for large.

Best hold ups I've found for my chunky thighs is asda, they stay up all night, perfect length for me (i'm 5ft6) and they are only about 4 quid a pair.

I buy my suspender belts and stockings from my local market and again they fit really well.

I also have a lacy body stocking that looks like stockings ect attached to a lacy top bit (I explained that terribly!)

I'm a size 22 and the Ann summers xl size fit. I've always found if you go for fishnets they have alot more give in them and also go for lace top one if they did into your thighs

Never opt for holdups as these will not do you any favours

I brought some recently of Asda and amazon and neither pair fitted

I always buy mine from Bon prix, Ann summers, simply be or Evans

The other mistake I made recently was to but knickers with suspenders attached - huge mistake! They ended up round my ankles for all the wrong reasons

I'm bigger than u and go with m&s, if they fit me I'm sure they will fit u! Also have some from Ann summers and they r ok but asdas don't fit at all! Cut the circulation off lol xx

Love Honey do some great fishnets with a lace top. They stretch all ways so fit whatever shape your legs are. I'm 5'7 with long legs and they're great if not a touch too long. I have three pairs so they must be good. M & S is another place that do great stockings. Good luck

M&S hold ups are amazing, I wear the fish nets and swear by them, they are also very soft and comfy to wear and never fall down or slip, they go upto a size XL to which are very generously sized and would easily fit a size 22 lady

West Yorkshire

My hold ups used to roll all the time then I figured out I was pulling them up too high. I'm 6ft tall and wanted them to be at least half way up my thigh but it seems the optimum length is max 6" above my knee. Maybe experiment with optimum pull up height.

I agree with everything said about fishnets they have a load more give and I can get lacy fishnet hold ups much higher up, with a lace top being comfortable, a plain top looks awful!

I don't know if Ann summers have changed their sizing or if I got a dodgy pair though as I replaced a pair of fishnet stockings with diamantes up the back seam, with an identical pair in same size .... and they wouldn't go up high enough to clip onto my suspender belt

Would anyone say that Ann Summers hold ups have more give in them than M&S ones? Ive always wanted to try the Ann Summers one but have been a bit unsure about them

one little trick lily learned from her moddeling is to use a long elastic hairband to keep holdups in place also try holdups with suspenders stops them slipping

Hello bigbustyandfab,

try stockingshq, they sell good quality suspender belts, ideally use a six strap which will give good and comfortable support. Make sure the stockings come high on your thighs, as it looks nicer and is more supportive. Google their name for the website.
