A friends status has inspired me, and brought back memories of an alternative music club I used to go back in the day .....

My hair was long and black with eye make up that wouldn't go amiss in an old hammer house vampire film. Lots of black clothes and copious amounts of snakebite and black

Morrisey .. The Smiths ... Stone Roses .. Wedding Present ... Wonderstuff ... Sisters of Mercy ... to name but a few

Ah those were THOSE days - Im still a goth/metal 'chick' inside

A friend of mine was a goth in the 80's.

Massively into fields of the nethalen (is that how u spell it?) Etc.

She used to wear her full goth makeup to work.....

She was a dental receptionist! !

Always wondered if she frightened the patients lol

Went into a Goth shop once, saw some lovely clothes and wow some of the Goth ladies look so good.

They even had a full size Coffin for sale, had to try it out for size

I used to go to Kensington Market .. at the time I used to think all the clothes and trinkets were the best ever - never a coffin though
