As youngster I never remember the ships been open the pubs shut at 3 and it was the family day timers have changed to make the rich folk even richer I'm afraid |

Ban it - very poor reflection on people's preferences and planning abilities if we can't spend one day a week not shopping!
Sunday should be funday - and for me shopping is not fun.
Working in a shop on a Sunday is even less fun. |

For those of us who work, this is the day we can wander round the shops not having to do it in a rush plus as pubs are open it does mean I can pick up any shifts going and earn extra money |

I work on a Sunday through choice, not the fact that I get paid very well for doing it.
Like everything I do it out of love
I love the French way of life & I would love their working style to return to Britain |

Not really given trying to do shopping in one's lunchtime is a nightmare given that town is full of the selfish thoughtless people that don't work, and I don't always have time on Saturday if I am working |
