Just booked up for another 4 night stay at a log cabin, this will be our 2 nd time this year, but 1st time during the summer as we normally prefer the winter time, nothing like a soak in the hot tub under the stars, and we find them better than hotels, anyone one else go to log cabins ? |

Did this in Lake Tahoe out of skiing season in October quite a few years ago.
Four of us...two couples....and spent nights in Stateline Nevada in the casinos and watching cabaret acts returning to the cabin and drinks in the outdoor jacuzzi. |

"Ok give us some sort of idea of what we would cost for say 5 x 3 mtr
Can I PM you? "
Aha, I see I can't.
No matter ... on the basis of a 5 x 3 m structure with eaves at 2.2 m and ridge at around 3.5 m, I'd guess the larch structural wall and roof shell (including floor joists/boards, rafters, sarking and the like - but excluding groundworks, roofing membranes/insulation/tiles and fittings such as doors, windows, electrics, etc.) could end up anywhere in the region of £15-25K delivered and erected at top spec, depending on design.
Like I said ... top end. |
