Got home yesterday to the not so wonderful smell of the contents of the local farmers chicken shed being spread on a nearby field. And boy does it stink

I'm quite odd as I like the country smells. Much better than car/lorry fumes all the time (although I like lorry fumes when it's sunny as it reminds me of going on holiday....told you, odd!! )

Me too. I used to drive home from Manchester daily some years ago, on warm days when the windows were down, the fumes were sickening. I used to long for 'country smells' as I got nearer home

Oh i love all those smells.. i just blame my little one and tell her she stinks, she then blames me and we end up laughing about it..

I've been lucky enough live in the country all my life. The only smell I can never get used to is chicken s.. um I mean dung
