Do you think its a sign of the times that the usual January onslaught of tv adverts for exotic holidays seem to have been replaced with ads for your 'unwanted' gold?

They don't bother me, as I don't usually go with the crowd, and prefer tailor-made itinerary myself. |

The first one was good for it's novelty factor but I'm finding them very irritating too now.
As for the unwanted gold ads, if anyone is stupid enough to put gold into an envelope then put it in the post then I have no sympathy for them whatsoever if it gets 'lost' or they get ripped off with a way under value return on it.
I've even heard of someone rejecting the valuation but had to pay £70 to have their gold returned to them! |
