If you were to class yourself on a scale of 0 to 10 with 10 being uber masculine where would you put yourself on the scale?

a) Ironing bed linens

b) Having an appreciation of soft furnishings

c) Being able to dance

d) Being able to mimic Rex Harrison in 'My Fair Lady' including his 'Parlando' style

I really don't think it matters if you iron or dance its more how you perceive yourself against what you see is average around you.

My fair lady you gain 1 point if you align yourself with Rex Harrison though.

Hmm not as masculine now that I shave my chest. Plus I love chick flicks, oh and eastenders, I like pop songs and I did cry at the end of armageddon once but bare in mind, I was quite young when that came out. Yh not as masculine as I thought i was before I started writing this post.

Rather than give myself a rating, i'll just say this:

Tomorrow night I'm going to mow my lawn, sort my Attic out and start painting my spare room, and that's after I've hosed my dogs...

...I'm so masculine you can't even handle me.

In public, or with a female, about a 9. In private with a guy, 0-1.

I'm comfortable in my pink shirts, drink way too much chablis and have a good understanding of womens shoes.

I do however like fast cars, sports and norks!

I'd give myself an 8.

But people have different perceptions on what it is to be a man. Think we need to establish that first.

Id class meself as a 7 in street life and at home id say a 5 as I do most of the daily household chores and always do the cooking, I can also be a 10 when provoked but thats as rare as a rare thing

I'd say 6-7.

Having shed a tear watching Paul O'Gradys animal thing last week, I know that anything to do with animals dying gets to me.

I am going to set the bar and give myself a 10 - because I am me, I am happy with whatever I do and I dont feel any less manly for doing something that historically was ever done by women only.

I cook, I clean, I go to work, I have the toilet the seat up or down (for obvious reasons) and I can shed a tear if a moment calls for it.

How many points do I lose for shaving/waxing my chest, moisturising, owning a pair of GHD's and having more footwear than any female I know?

On the flip side, do I gain anything for the fact I have my steaks cooked blue, wait a week or so before I shave, like anything to do with sport, and bruit strength and ignorance is my first and only option for everything?

If a knuckle dragging Neanderthal score a perfect 10 on the masculinity scale and the other end of the table represents the Louie Spence category………

I'm happily bang in the middle….!.

I'd say a 6/7,

Like football and ballet.

Can cook and fix a car engine.

Like tattoo's but don't want one myself.

Like to listen but don't talk for more than 30 seconds to mates on the phone.

Like shopping with women for sexy underwear and shoes but don't wear them myself.
