"What's a carder?"
Does he/she deliver cards ? ASDA is full of them, Birthday, wedding, xmas, someone has to deliver them, so that must be what a carder does |

I think when View put up this extremely polite and thoroughly nice thread the bit where he said
"anyone who makes their living driving full time total respect."
pretty much covers everyone whose employment means they have to be out and on the road at this time of year, whether actually driving the vehicle or as part of the vehicle crew or walking to deliver or cycling to deliver.............in fact anyone who has to go out in the cold to make the rest of our lives more bearable
I got it mate and lovely thought |

No I was thinking longer away than that, tele 150 and a bellset No1 or a good old 232CB and bellset 26 - bulit to last.
In fact the candlestick 150 (dial auto no10) and bellset No1 still work fine in my house |

I thank my dog walker for walking my pooch, so that I don't have to when I come home in this weather.
The downside is that I am not getting as much exercise as I used to, so I shall need to jump on the exercise bike instead! |

CARDERS, now having a City and Guilds in textiles I understand who the O.P. was talking about. Carding is to align the fibres prior to spinning. Sadly not many around since the industrial revolution. |
