Cat and collar

Has anybody had a cat that's had to wear a collar to stop it from licking a wound?

Mine had one on today and seemed really uncomfortable with it but he's still gone out, even tho he looked totally miserable.

Should they go out with them on?

Hmmmm, I would worry about the cat getting tangled wearing the collar myself, and would probably keep it indoors until the wound is healed.

i would worry about it getting tangled up in something,but i bet it comes back without it

I wanted to but he buggered off... It's difficult with 2 cats and a cat flap.

Agree, if it comes back with collar, try and keep it in.
