How do you keep warm?

I have my very glamerous wooly knitted socks and slippers and massive cardies and loads of Bovril and porridge.

A German Shepherd on one arm, an American Bulldog on the other - both pulling like trains and me trying not to fall flat on my arse - again.

Now that tends to keep you warm, even in this cold snap.

But it is nice to see a winter coming close to how it should be.

Cold

A world of my own

My daughter has been visiting for Xmas and has tried to get back to Rhyl today, but from Wigan there is no chance, no buses or trains or even taxis running. She isn't working at the moment and needs to sign on at the jobcentre there, she rang them this morning to say she was stranded and they won't believe how bad the weather is here as its not bad by the coast, she now will probably lose her money.

Get her to tell the local office near you to ring her local office and confirm the bad weather.

Can she not go into a job centre locally and they confirm that she is there and unable to get back to Rhyll. Just a thought

I'm sure it won't be too difficult for JCP to check and see that the transport has ground to a halt. Then again, to some of the lazy self righteous barstuards who work for JCP that would involve too much effort

If she loses her money I'm sure she'd get it back on appeal because her case would be so easy to prove
