The "A" key on my keyboard has broken due to snapping off the catches when I pushed it back inappropriately, after trying to clean the fluff underneath.
I spent good hour or so trying to glue it to the silicone button underneath without much luck.
A lightbulb moment came and I took out the "-" key from the numeric keypad that I seldom use, and fitted it as the "A" key replacement. I can touch type and do not need to find the "A" as such.
Feeling rather smug/chuffed at myself for my lightbulb moment, even though it was after I bought a replacement key for uner 3.00 GBP off eBay!
