Feeling sad and lonely

12 years ago the most precious thing in the world was taken from me, my son, it's true to say that as the years have passed it has got somewhat easier, I have my daughter that I am so grateful to have I love her dearly. I'm not normally one to sit a wallow in my own self pity, but today I think I'm allowed and I'm not going to apologise for it, I'm going to sit and shed a tear and pray that wherever he is in this universe he is happy. However it's times like these I really hate being on my own, what I really want is strong man hugs  times like this I feel so lonely I want to scream.... that's all I wanted to say, sorry I just needed to get it off my chest |

I know how you feel to have a child whether born or unborn is the most devastating thing in this world..I miss my child deeply and well it hurts to this day..not a day goes by without me thinking of the child.. |

We never forget our children. I think of my son every day. My grandmother, on her deathbed, called for her daughter who had died as a baby. |

we are blessed with 2 children, you are a strong strong woman, I could not imagine loosing a child but I know I would never be the same again, I admire your strength and honesty amongst us all-big hugs to you.
shed a tear, shed a river, he will be watching knowing its all fit him.

Awww...reading this post has made me have tears in my eyes and the kind responses from the lovely people show how caring they are ..I can't imagine how you feel but it must be the worst thing in the world to lose your child ..sending lots of hugs to you xxxxx |

Don't mourn him, celebrate him. Because he will live forever and never get old. It does get easier as time goes by but only when you actively try to let go of the guilt. There is nothing to be ashamed of and were he able to tell you, he would! |

It is, the big rose symbolises my daughter, the middle rose is for my son, the bud is a miscarriage I had. Thank you x |

having had several miscarriages and a still birth myself, I know how upset you can get at times, keep your chin up and live your life to the fullest for him honey, sending you lots of love and hugs xxxx |

Only just seen this.... I couldn't even start to imagine the pain of losing a child.
My world would crumble without my son.

Its been over that since i lost the love of my life and i still miss him dearly,can't imagine the loss of a child hope you get your hugs soon xx |

Oi!!! Everyone on here has used the forums at some point or another for a little support.
That's why I love the forums, it's a little community of individuals who can help, share and discuss previous experiences in life.

Hey Sugar, it is best to just let your emotions out... On Friday just gone it was the anniversary of the day I lost my son. He was 5.5 months old when he stopped breathing and 4 days of intensive care before I finally made the decision.
Not a day will go by over the past 6 years where I wish things could be different and that he was with me.
Losing a child is one of the hardest things and deepest loss you can go through.

My mother who sadly passed away 2 days before my 7th bday had 3 pregnancies with her ex husband, 1 was stillborn and 1 only lived a few days
My half brother and his father emigrated to Australia before I was born, I have never met him...

Do not feel daft posting, i just hope its made you feel a little better. There is a great community feel about this place.
I lost my dad at christmas and i dont know how i would of got through it if it wasnt for the support on here.
I cant imagine how you are feeling, but if posting has made it slightly easier that is a positive.

full understand what you went through, I still recall the dreaded phone call I took at work, and that day my world fell apart, they say it gets better but does it, never a day goes by where I don't spend time alone to think back to that day x |

Well your certainly not foolish and anyone who thinks its a look at me thread aren't worth worrying about.
I can't empathise nor begin to understand what your feeling but as a mother I know it's my worst nightmare the though of losing my child. But bigs hugs and take today for what it is and no regrets for anything you do or say as today it's allowed xxxx |

I really don't know what to say apart from I think you are very brave to express your feelings on here.
I was feeling a bit down but you have made me realise my problems are nothing.
