Some people find they attract people with problems, minor and bigger ones. Some people have a natural trend to advise others.

What are you?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's a bit of give and take.

I have had people come into my life, particularly at work, where I was there at the right time to be of help.

It has taken me a long time to allow people to help me but they are there.

I attract people with problems. Even if I'm sitting quietly waiting for a bus someone will start talking to me about a problem

You probably give off vibes of being a good listener.

I think it is so much harder to receive than to give. For me anyway

I have learned the hard way, now I don't and can be quite cold about it... I wish the people no ill will but I don't want to be central to any solution

And at the end of teh day you cannot make decisions for anybody - they have to find what is right for them themselves, dont they.

I've got the kind of face that people want to talk at (or smack lol) and I will chat to just about anybody.

But I don't mind listening and offereing the occasional word of advice if asked.

Slightly at a tangent. I was in a shop with my parents (86, 79) and an elderly gent commented on the biscuits I was putting in my basket, we exchanged a few good humoured words and I moved on. I looked back and my father was chatting to him , they were laughing and were there for about ten minutes. On the way home my dad said that the man was recently widowed, in his eighties and very lonely and that brief chat with both of us had made him feel less so.

That's why I don't really mind people chatting to me

Aw, that is so sweet - and I know what you mean - that is why I dont mind talking or rather listening to people either. You never know what they have going on in their lives.

Don't really have time for those who seem to attract issues, intentionally or otherwise, and forever seeking help/advice/sympathy/whatever from others.

I've spent many many years fixing people, problems and things.

Sadly, it took many years to realise that I never took time to fix the things wrong in my life - because I was too busy finding solutions for everyone else.
